Modern-Eye: Specs to Represent YOU

Glasses are serious business. They’re expensive, they’re delicate, and they can easily be one of the most defining aspects of your style. A pair of specs can make or break your “look”, so it’s important to find the one. The best pair of frames for you fit the shape of your face, flatter your features, and represent YOU all at the same time. Plus, you’re most likely gonna have ‘em for a while, so you better make the right choice. But oftentimes, your local eye-glass store doesn’t carry anything truly unique, so you sometimes have to settle for less than a perfect fit. That sucks. That’s why I had to seek out a truly extraordinary eye-glass boutique, and I found it in Philly.
Modern Eye, located in both University City and Center City, is the place to shop for your eye-wear if you are the kind of person who likes to draw outside the lines. They will cover all bases, from your eye examination to picking out a frame, and will even fit you for contact lenses if you take that route. Also, Modern Eye can provide you with a laser eye surgery consultation, and screening.
If you decide to stick with glasses, however, you’ll only find the best here. They carry high-end name brands like Gucci, Ray-Ban, and Freudenhaus for the show-offs (like me), as well as more obscure, unique brands such as RetroSpecs, and Anne et Valentin. The variety of brands, styles, colors, and prices far surpasses that of your neighborhood LensCrafters, and it’s unlikely you’ll be disappointed with your shopping experience.
So if you need glasses, don’t just wear them. Rock them.
