Broccoli Raab Baguettes with Artichoke Hearts and melted Fontina Cheese

YOU WILL NEED:
1 bunch of Braccoli Raab
1 French bread baguette
8 ounces of roasted garlic
8 artichoke hearts, cut in quarters
4 ounces of butter
8 lg basil leaves…chiffonade cut or rough chopped.
TT Kosher salt
TT Crushed red Pepper flakes
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Bring a pot of water to a boil and prepare an ice bath Pre heat oven to 450 degrees.
2. Trim bottom of the Brocoli Raab
3. Place Brocoli Raab in the water for 45 seconds to one minute, strain and add directly to the ice bath
4. Remove from ice bath, and chop into 3/4 inch length segments
5. Slice french bread on a bias, approx 3/4 in thick, and rub both sides with roasted garlic. Grill untill golden brown and defined grill marks are visible.
6. warm a sautee pan and add butter, artichoke hearts, crushed red pepper, kosher salt, garlic chips, sautee for one minute
7. Add Brocoli Raab, and basil….. toss, make sure the Broccoli Raab is coated with butter
8. Lay sliced bread on a baking sheet, so that the sides of slices touch each other.
9. Top with Broccoli Raab mix, and top with cheese, bake until cheese has completely melted.
10. Enjoy!

Can you substitute the artichoke hearts with something else? Not a fan of artichokes…
